Turk's Head Knot

A Turk's head knot is a Turk's head link Th(p,q) with relatively prime positive parameters p and q. It is therefore a one-component closure of the alternating braid (sigma_1sigma_2^(-1)sigma_3...sigma_(p-1)^((-1)^p))^q. For p=1, the braid is trivial. The cases Th(2,3) and Th(3,2) are a trefoil knot and the figure eight knot, respectively (Di Prisa and Savk 2026).
