O(n) Model

The O(n) model, for an integer n>=1, is a spin model with unit vectors q_x in S^(n-1) subset R^n and interactions invariant under simultaneous orthogonal transformations. For nearest-neighbor edges E of a finite square lattice, its zero-field ferromagnetic Gibbs measure is proportional to

 exp(betasum_({x,y} in E)q_x·q_y)product_(x)dsigma(q_x),

where sigma is normalized surface measure and each edge is counted once. The parameter beta>0 is inverse temperature. The cases n=1 and n=2 give the Ising model and XY model, respectively.
