Hermitian Part


The Hermitian part of a complex matrix A is

 A_H=1/2(A+A^H),

and its antihermitian part is

 A_(AH)=1/2(A-A^H).

Thus A_H is a Hermitian matrix and A_(AH) is an antihermitian matrix. Here, A^H denotes the conjugate transpose.
