Hodge Group

The Hodge group of a rational Hodge structure V is the smallest algebraic subgroup of GL(V) over Q whose real points contain its Hodge circle. In the convention e^(itheta)v=e^(i(p-q)theta)v for v in V^(p,q), the circle distinguishes the Hodge types (Huybrechts 2016).
