Blow-Up

A blow-up may denote one of several distinct mathematical constructions or phenomena.

In algebraic geometry, an algebraic blow-up is an isomorphism away from its center and has an exceptional divisor over that centerBlow-Up Center.

In analysis, a finite-time blow-up is the formation of a singularity when a solution or one of its derivatives becomes unbounded in finite time.

In graph theory, a graph blow-up replaces vertices by independent vertex sets.
