Uniform Tracial Ultrapower

The uniform tracial ultrapower A^omega of a unital C^*-algebra with nonempty tracial state space T(A) is the quotient of bounded sequences in A by the ideal of sequences whose uniform tracial 2-seminorm tends to zero along a free ultrafilter omega. The seminorm is

 ||a||_(2,T(A))=sup_(tau in T(A))tau(a^*a)^(1/2).

A limit trace has the form lambda([(a_n)])=lim_(n->omega)tau_n(a_n) with tau_n in T(A). The uniform tracial completion B consists of bounded sequences that are Cauchy in this seminorm, modulo sequences tending to zero in it. Each trace on A has a designated extension to B, and B^omega is defined with these extensions. This quotient differs from the norm ultrapower, whose defining ideal uses operator norms.
