The triangle similarity theorems are criteria that guarantee two triangles are similar triangles. The AAA theorem, commonly stated as the AA criterion, uses two equal corresponding angles. The SAS similarity theorem uses one pair of equal included angles and two pairs of proportional corresponding sides. The SSS similarity theorem uses three pairs of proportional corresponding sides.
