Subadditive Function

A subadditive function is a function f satisfying

 f(x+y)<=f(x)+f(y)

whenever x, y, and x+y belong to its domain.

A convex function that is also a homogeneous function of degree 1 is subadditive. The McLeod conjecture concerns subadditivity of ratios of complete homogeneous symmetric polynomials (Sra 2026).
