Linear Threshold Function

A linear threshold function is a Boolean function obtained by thresholding a_0+a_1x_1+...+a_nx_n on {-1,1}^n, with real coefficients a_i. The output is 1 when this expression is nonnegative and -1 otherwise (O'Donnell 2021, §5.1). For example, thresholding x_1+x_2+x_3 returns the value taken by a majority of its three coordinates. Linear threshold functions are polynomial threshold functions represented by polynomials of total degree at most 1.
