Cyclotomic Extension

A cyclotomic extension of a field K is a field extension obtained by adjoining a root of unity to K. When K=Q and the adjoined root is a primitive nth root of unity zeta_n, the resulting extension Q(zeta_n) is a cyclotomic field and is an Abelian Galois extension of Q.
