Two polygons are congruent if a rigid motion maps one onto the other with corresponding vertices
matched. Equivalently, their corresponding sides and corresponding
angles are equal. Congruent polygons
have equal perimeters and equal areas.
They are similar polygons with similarity
ratio 1.
