Buenos Aires Constant

The Buenos Aires constant is the real number defined by the series

 lambda=sum_(n=1)^infty(p_n-1)/(product_(k=1)^(n-1)p_k),

where p_n is the nth prime number and the empty product for n=1 equals 1. Its value is 2.920050977316... (OEIS A249270), and it is irrational (Fridman et al. 2019, Varona 2021).

The recurrence relation

 f_(n+1)=|_f_n_|(f_n-|_f_n_|+1),

with f_1=lambda, satisfies |_f_n_|=p_n for every positive integer n, where |_x_| is the floor function (Fridman et al. 2019). Thus it recovers all primes in increasing order. The prime numbers are already encoded in the value of lambda through its defining series.
