Antiderivative


An antiderivative of a function f on an interval is a differentiable function F such that

 F^'(x)=f(x)

throughout the interval. Any two antiderivatives of f on the same interval differ by a constant. The indefinite integral intf(x)dx denotes the family F(x)+C, where C is the constant of integration.
