A regular polygon is a polygon in which the sides are all the same length and the angles all have the same measure.

Regular polygon is an elementary-school-level concept. It is listed in the California State Standards for Grade 3.

Examples

Equilateral Triangle: A triangle in which all three sides are of equal length. In such a triangle, the angles are all equal as well.
Square: A square is a polygon with four sides of equal length and at right angles to each other.
