Weighted Homogeneous Polynomial

A weighted homogeneous polynomial is a polynomial for which every nonzero monomial has the same weighted degree. For positive integer weights a_1,...,a_N and degree d, this is equivalent to

 f(t^(a_1)z_1,...,t^(a_N)z_N)=t^df(z_1,...,z_N).

When d>0, the normalized weights are the positive rational numbers a_i/d. For example, y^2-x^3 has weights 2 for x and 3 for y, with weighted degree 6. Its monomials have different ordinary total degrees. Equal weights recover ordinary homogeneity.
