Thin Tree

An alpha-thin tree in a finite connected graph G is a spanning tree T such that |E(T) intersection delta_G(S)|<=alpha|delta_G(S)| for every vertex subset S, where delta_G(S) is the cut consisting of graph edges with one endpoint in S. In a multigraph, parallel graph edges are counted with multiplicity.
