Seshadri Constant

A multipoint Seshadri constant measures local positivity of an ample line bundle at distinct points of a smooth projective variety. For p=(p_1,...,p_r) it is

 epsilon(X,L;p)=inf_(C)(L·C)/(sum_(i)mult_(p_i)C),

where C ranges over integral curves meeting at least one marked point and multiplicity is zero at points outside the curve. For the algebraic blow-up pi at these points with exceptional divisors E_i, it is also the largest t>=0 such that pi^*L-tsum_(i)E_i is nef. In dimension n its volume upper bound is

 epsilon(X,L;p)<=(L^n/r)^(1/n).

For example, O(1) on projective space has one-point constant one.
