Propeller Polyhex


Propeller

The propeller polyhex is the 4-polyhex formed by joining three regular hexagons to alternating edges of a central hexagon. It is one of the seven 4-polyhexes when shapes that differ only by translation, rotation, or reflection are identified (Gardner 1978, p. 147). Its cell-adjacency graph is the claw graph K_(1,3).

The shape is invariant under rotations through 120 degrees.
