Projective Subspace

A projective subspace of a projective space P(V) is the set P(W) of one-dimensional linear subspaces contained in a nonzero linear subspace W of the vector space V. If W has vector-space dimension d+1, then P(W) has projective dimension d. In the finite projective space PG(n-1,q) over the finite field with q elements, a d-dimensional projective subspace has (q^(d+1)-1)/(q-1) points (Chun et al. 2026).

Chun et al. (2026) study color-avoiding projective subspaces in a geometric analog of the Erdős-Hajnal conjecture.
