Petty's Projection-Volume Conjecture

Petty's projection-volume conjecture asserts that, among convex bodies in R^n of fixed volume, precisely the ellipsoids minimize the volume of the projection body, for every integer n>=3. Equivalently, writing PiK for the projection body and kappa_j for the volume of the unit ball in R^j, the proposed bound is

 (vol_n(PiK))/(vol_n(K)^(n-1))>=kappa_(n-1)^nkappa_n^(2-n),

with equality iff K is an ellipsoid. This concerns the projection body itself, rather than its polar body.
