Octagrammic Prism

OctagrammicPrism

A octagrammic prism is a prism formed by two regular octagrams offset along their symmetry axis and with corresponding edges connected by lateral faces.

For an equilateral octagrammic prism with edge length a, the surface area and volume are

S=8(4+sqrt(2))a^2
(1)
V=4(2+sqrt(2))a^3.
