Linear Functor

A linear functor over a field k is a functor F:A->B between categories whose hom-sets are vector spaces over k and whose composition of morphisms is bilinear, such that the induced map on each hom-set is a linear transformation. Equivalently, F(af+bg)=aF(f)+bF(g) for scalars a,b in k and morphisms f,g:X->Y (Stacks Project Authors 2026). Every linear functor is an additive functor.
