Gersten Conjecture

The Gersten conjecture asserts exactness of the augmented residue chain complex for algebraic K-theory over a regular local ring A. If A has Krull dimension d and field of fractions F, its first terms are

 0->K_n(A)->K_n(F)-> direct sum _(ht(p)=1)K_(n-1)(kappa(p))->...,

where the direct sum runs over prime ideals of ideal height 1 and kappa(p) is the residue field of the localization A_p. In particular, the conjecture requires K_n(A)->K_n(F) to be injective (Weibel 2013).
