Bott-Chern Cohomology

Bott-Chern cohomology is the cohomology of complex differential forms that are closed under both partial and partial^_, modulo forms in the image of partialpartial^_. For a complex manifold X, it is

 H_(BC)^(p,q)(X)={alpha in A^(p,q)(X):partialalpha=partial^_alpha=0}/partialpartial^_A^(p-1,q-1)(X).

Here A^(p,q)(X) denotes smooth forms of type (p,q). In bidegree (1,1), its real version represents real closed forms modulo ipartialpartial^_ of real smooth functions.

On a normal compact Kähler space, the corresponding real space can be defined with locally smooth potentials in local analytic embeddings. The analytic nef cone is the closure of the Kähler cone in this space. Analytic pseudo-effectivity instead requires a closed positive (1,1)-current in the class, as used in compact Kähler minimal model programs.
