de Rham Representation

A de Rham representation of the absolute Galois group G_K of a finite extension K/Q_p is a finite-dimensional Q_p representation V whose de Rham period space has dimension equal to dim_(Q_p)V over K. Using Fontaine's de Rham period field B_(dR), this space is

 D_(dR)(V)=(B_(dR) tensor _(Q_p)V)^(G_K).

The field B_(dR) is a filtered period field with a continuous Galois action and fixed field K. Its filtration induces one on D_(dR)(V). A representation with coefficients in a finite extension of Q_p is tested after restriction of scalars.

The local de Rham condition occurs in the regular Fontaine-Mazur modularity formulation.
