Subsheaf

A subsheaf G of a sheaf F is a sheaf for which each G(U) is a subset of F(U) and the restriction maps are the restrictions of those of F. For sheaves of groups, rings, or modules, the subsets are required to be subgroups, subrings, or submodules, respectively.
