Stationary Integral Varifold

A stationary integral varifold is an integral varifold whose first variation of volume vanishes for every compactly supported smooth ambient vector field. For an m-dimensional varifold in an open subset U subset= R^(m+n), the condition is

 intdiv_PX(x)dV(x,P)=0,

where div_PX is the trace of the derivative restricted to the plane P. A regular point of its support has a neighborhood where the entire support is one smooth embedded minimal submanifold and the varifold has constant positive integer multiplicity. The singular set is the complement of these regular points in the support.
