Radian Measure

The radian measure theta of a central angle is the ratio of the length s of its intercepted arc to the radius r of the circle,

 theta=s/r.

It is dimensionless. A full angle has radian measure 2pi, a straight angle has radian measure pi, and a right angle has radian measure pi/2.
