Pandigital describes a string of digits or a mathematical expression that contains every digit of a specified base at least once. In base 10, the usual zerofull convention requires 0, 1, ..., 9, while a zeroless pandigital expression uses 1, 2, ..., 9. A pandigital expression is called restricted if each required digit occurs exactly once.
Pandigital numbers and pandigital fractions are special cases. The adjective is also used for formulas and approximations whose written expressions contain the required digits.
