Miller Equidistant Projection

MillerEquidistantProjections

Several cylindrical equidistant projections were devised by R. Miller. Miller's projections have standard parallels of phi_1=37 degrees30^' (giving minimal overall scale distortion), phi_1=43 degrees (giving minimal scale distortion over continents), and phi_1=50 degrees28^' (Miller 1949).
