Kolmogorov Constant

The inertial subranges of velocity power spectra for homogeneous turbulence exhibit a power law with exponent -5/3. This exponent (-5/3) is called the Kolmogorov constant by Le Lionnais (1983, p. 41). However, the constant more commonly known as the Kolmogorov constant is the multiplier of the power law (Sreenivasan 1995).
