Hessian Covariant

The Hessian covariant is defined by

H=|aa^'a^('')|a_(x^(n-2))a_(x^(n-2))^'a_(x^(n-2))^('')=0.

The nonsingular inflections of a curve are its nonsingular intersections with the Hessian.
