Hall's Condition

Hall's condition for a finite bipartite graph G with parts X and Y is that |N(A)|>=|A| for every subset A of X, where N(A) is the set of vertices in Y adjacent to at least one vertex in A. By Hall's theorem, this condition is equivalent to the existence of a matching covering every vertex in X (Harary 1994, pp. 53-54). When |X|=|Y|, such a matching is a perfect matching.
