Half-Moses Circle

Half-MosesCircle

The half-Moses circle is defined as the circle having the same center as the Moses circle, i.e., the Brocard midpoint X_(39) but half its radius, i.e.,

R_H=1/2Rtanomegasin(2omega)
(1)
=(abcsqrt((a+b-c)(a-b+c)(-a+b+c)(a+b+c)))/(4(a^2b^2+a^2c^2+b^2c^2)),
(2)

where R is the circumradius of the reference triangle and omega is the Brocard angle.

It has circle function

 l=(bc(a^2+b^2+c^2)(3a^4-5a^2c^2-8b^2c^2))/(16(a^2b^2+a^2c^2+b^2c^2)^2),
(3)

which does not correspond to any Kimberling center.

It passes through Kimberling center X_(2023).
