Fubini-Study Metric

The Fubini-Study metric is the standard Kähler metric on complex projective space, induced from the Hermitian inner product on its homogeneous coordinates. In the affine chart [1:z_1:...:z_n], one normalization has Kähler potential ln(1+||z||^2) and Hermitian coefficient matrix

 g_(ij^_)=((1+||z||^2)delta_(ij)-z^__iz_j)/((1+||z||^2)^2).

The associated Kähler form is ipartialpartial^_ln(1+||z||^2). Constant rescaling changes the curvature normalization, so numerical curvature statements must specify the scale. Restricting this form to a smooth complex projective submanifold gives its standard induced symplectic form.
