Cyclic Basis Ordering

A cyclic basis ordering of a finite matroid M on ground set E is a cyclic order of E such that every r(M) cyclically consecutive elements form a matroid basis, where r(M) is the matroid rank of M (Kajitani et al. 1988).

Every such matroid is a uniformly dense matroid. The Kajitani-Ueno-Miyano conjecture asserts the converse.
