Cumulative Frequency


Let the absolute frequencies of occurrence of an event in a number of class intervals be denoted f_1, f_2, .... The cumulative frequency corresponding to the upper boundary of any class interval c_i in a frequency distribution is the total absolute frequency of all values less than that boundary, denoted

 F_<=sum_(i<=n)f_i.
