Cumulative Frequency


The cumulative frequency corresponding to the upper boundary of a class interval c_i in a frequency distribution is the total absolute frequency of all values less than that boundary. If the absolute frequencies of an event in the class intervals are f_1, f_2, ..., the cumulative frequency is denoted

 F_<=sum_(i<=n)f_i.
