Complex Projective Design

A complex projective t-design is a finite collection of points in complex projective space whose equal-weight averages agree with the invariant uniform average for polynomials homogeneous of degree t in unit-vector coordinates and of degree t in their complex conjugates. The coordinates are taken on the unit sphere, and the equal bidegrees make the value independent of the phase chosen for each unit representative (Delchev and Yordanov 2026).

Delchev and Yordanov (2026) used complex projective 3-designs in complex projective space of dimension (d-3)/2 to construct spherical designs of strength 7 in R^d with 110M points from a design with M points, for odd d>=9.
