Basis Relation

A basis relation, also called a basic relation, of a coherent configuration on a finite set X is one of the binary relations R_0, R_1, ..., R_d in the set partition of X×X that defines the coherent configuration. The adjacency matrices of the basis relations form a vector basis of the adjacency algebra, and their matrix products are determined by the intersection numbers.
