Apeirogonal Antiprism


The apeirogonal antiprism, also called the infinite antiprism, is the limiting member of the family of antiprisms as the number of sides of the two bases tends to infinity. In this limit, the two apeirogonal bases become half-planes and the lateral band becomes an infinite alternating strip of triangles.

When all edges have equal length, the triangular strip together with the two half-planes gives a uniform tessellation of the Euclidean plane. Each vertex then has vertex configuration 3.3.3.infty.
