Anticanonical Linear System

An anticanonical linear system on a smooth projective variety is the complete linear system |-mK_X| for a positive integer m. Its divisors are the zeros of anticanonical plurisections. For a smooth connected projective complex variety of dimension n>0 with smoothly semipositive L=-K_X, fix a semipositive curvature form alpha, let nu be its maximum complex rank, and let G_0 be ample. For a divisor D, define l(D)=D·L^nu·G_0^(n-nu-1) if nu<n, and l(D)=0 if nu=n.

A valuation is centered on X when its valuation ring dominates a local ring of X. Divisor orders use local defining rational functions there.
