The algebraics, sometimes denoted (Derbyshire 2004, p. 173), are the set of algebraic
numbers. The set of algebraic numbers is implemented in the Wolfram
Language as Algebraics,
and a number
can then be tested to see if it is algebraic using the command Element[x,
Algebraics].
