Call for MathML Papers

By Eric W. Weisstein

February 8, 2002--Wolfram Research is proud to once again be hosting this year's annual MathML conference. The conference will be held June 28-30 in the Chicago area and aims to bring together those people involved in defining the future of math on the web. The conference provides a forum for presenting and discussing current research and applications in which the major emphasis is on MathML and technologies that ease the use of mathematical and scientific content on the web. See the MathML conference website for more information.

Originally slated for February 8, the deadline for submitting abstracts of two to four pages has now been extended though February 18. Anyone doing work that involves MathML is encouraged to consider submitting a paper. In addition, ideas for good panel discussions are also being sought and can be submitted in the form of a two-page proposal. The deadline for panel suggestions is also February 8.

Details about submitting a paper are available on the MathML website.
