Eberlein Polynomial

The Eberlein polynomials of degree 2k and variable x are the orthogonal polynomials arising in the Johnson scheme that may be defined by

E_k^((n,v))(x)=sum_(j=0)^(k)(-1)^(k-j)(n-j; k-j)(n-x; j)(v-n+j-x; j)
(1)
=sum_(j=0)^(k)(-1)^j(x; j)(n-x; k-j)(v-n-x; k-j).
