Circle Inverse Curve

The inverse curve of the circle with parametric equations

x=acost
(1)
y=asint
(2)

with respect to an inversion circle with center (x,y) and radius R is given by

x_i=x_0+(R(acost-x_0))/((x_0-acost)^2+(y_0-asint)^2)
(3)
y_i=y_0+(R(asint-y_0))/((x_0-acost)^2+(y_0-asint)^2),
(4)

which is another circle.
