Bilateral Laplace Transform

A bilateral Laplace transform is a two-sided (doubly infinite) Laplace transform given by

 L_t[f(t)](s)=int_(-infty)^inftyf(t)e^(-st)dt.

While some authors use this as the primary definition of "the" Laplace transform (Oppenheim et al. 1997), it is much more common for the unilateral Laplace transform to be considered the primary definition.
